Narcotics cell of Excise Department collects Rs 78.6m in 10 months in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The narcotics cell of the Excise and Taxation Department collected Rs 78.601 million during first ten months of fiscal year 2015-16 and achieved its annual target of Rs 85.786 million up to 92 percent.

It collected Rs 71.48 from Faisalabad city against the assigned target of Rs 79.406, which has been achieved up to 90 percent. From Jhang, it generated Rs 3.903 million against the assigned target of Rs 4.501 million and achieved it up to 87 percent.

Meanwhile, the department also collected the Rs 2.357 million against the target of RS 727,000 from Chiniot and surpassed the target by 324 percent. The department also collected Rs 854,000 from Toba Tek Singh against the target of Rs 1.151 million by achieving target up to 74 percent.
