FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a suspected human trafficker-cum-fraudster, Mohammad Farooq, in Faisalabad city.
According to the details, FIA Assistant Director Chaudhary Mazherullah, following a complaint against the accused, conducted a raid and arrested him. The accused was allegedly involved in sending innocent people abroad, especially Middle East after extorting big amount money from them.
Two complainants named Adnan Hanif and his wife Hina Hanif registered case against him alleging that he has taken Rs 50 million from them for settling their business and family in Dubai. But, the accused could not fulfil his promise.
The FIA has sent the accused Muhammad Farooq behind the bars after registering a case No. 370/15 against him.
