FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker named Habibur Rehman son of Faiz Muhammad who is a resident of Kamalia having CNIC No, 33302 2284280 5 on the allegations of taking Rs790000 from the complainant on the pretext of sending him to Oman for employment.
According to details, FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub inspector Muhammad Sohail Awan arrested the accused who was involved in illegal business of sending innocent people abroad, especially to the European and the Middle East countries after extorting huge amount from them.
The FIA team also recovered different passports and several fake visas of different countries from his possession. The officials sent the accused behind bars after registering a case of human smuggling against him. Further investigations are still underway till the filing of this report.
