FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a man involved in human trafficking. The suspect is identified as Muhammad Asghar son of Muhammad Ashraf
Sources told Customs Today that Assistant Director FIA Ch Mazhar Ullah and Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nadeem conducted a successful raid and arrested the accused who cheated Muhammad Anwar Sheikh son of Sultan Muhammad by promising him for employment in Malaysia and deprived him of Rs 0.4 million for the purpose.
The FIA also claimed to have recovered fake visas and a huge sum of money from him.
The FIA team sent the accused to prison after registering a case number 31/16 against him under the applicable law 17/22 of 1979. Further investigations are underway in this regard.
