Faisalabad FIA arrests human trafficker from Talagang

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Faisalabad, has arrested a human trafficker from Talagang who is allegedly involved in sending people abroad on fake documents.

Sources told Customs Today that Faisalabad FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Ali Zaidi and Inspector Shoaib Ahmed Haroon arrested Muhammad Farooq son of Banaras Khan.

The accused is involved in looting people by extorting huge amounts from them in guise of sending them abroad. The Faisalabad FIA team arrested the suspect on the complaint of Ihsan Ullah because he extorted Rs 569,000 to send him Qatar on employment visa but he remained failed. That accused has been arrested under section 17/22 of Immigration Ordinance 1979.

The accused had also allegedly extorted thousands of rupees from the others innocent people. The FIA has sent him behind the bars after registering a FIR case No. 287/2016 against him on the charges of human trafficking.
