Faisalabad FIA arrests three manufacturers of sex and spurious drugs

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three accused involved in manufacturing and selling of sex medicines.

Sources told Customs Today that the Federal Investigation Agency’s team conducted a successful raid along with Drug Inspector Khalid Mustafa on a den of one Dogar near Harianwala Chowk Faisalabad. The team recovered 2,000 sex tablets worth Rs. 500,000 on the spot.

The accused arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency Faisalabad include Hussain Tariq, Zafar Abbas and Abdul Razaq. A First Information Report (FIR) No: 9/17 has been registered under Section (U/S), 23/27 and all of them have been sent behind the bars.

Meanwhile, FIA Deputy Director (DD) Syed Imam Zaidi has claimed to have improved the performance of the department as compared to previous year by taking actions against spurious and sex drugs and said more raids and arrests are expected in 2017.
