FAISALABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) seized 1080 kilogram foreign origin KLP zeera.
Sources told Customs Today that a team of Customs Intelligence following the instructions of Deputy Director Rana Irfan Shouqat conducted a raid Jhang Road and intercepted rikshwa no: LEO-4308.
The accused person Usman Khan was asked to produce the legal documents showing the legal import of the items but he remained failed to do so. Therefore the team of Customs Intelligence confiscated the zeera made in India.
The team comprising Superintendent Muhammad Tahir Iqbal, Intelligence Officer Muhammad Arshad, Saeed Hayat, Ansar Saleemi and others participated in the raid.
