Faisalabad I&I earns Rs6.3m through auction of NDP vehicles & goods

FAISALABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence & Investigation earned Rs6.3 million through public auction of impounded vehicles and seized goods. It is the second auction conducted during the month of November.

Sources told Customs Today that people from Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar participated in the said auction. The auction was organized under the supervision of Deputy Director Rana Irfan Shouqat.

Rana Irfan Shouqat said that the standard procedures were followed in the auction process and the auctioneers deposited 25 percent amount on the spot.

The auction cell earned Rs3.3 million through auction of impounded vehicles which includes Hino truck bearing registration no: AE-1193 Sukkar and Rs1.7 million by selling of foreign origin glasses. Rana Irfan Shouqat said that the auction cell collected Rs2.8 million by selling Hino truck SBA-824 Sibi in the auction.
