FAISALABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) team impounded a used Toyota Passo car during a special road checking.
Sources told Customs Today that Director Syed Asad Rizvi after receiving information regarding non duty paid vehicles constituted a party comprising Superintendent, Muhammad Tahir Iqbal, Intelligence Officer Muhammad Irshad, Saeed Hayat, Muhammad Sikander and Haider Ali conducted operation.
The intelligence team intercepted the car bearing registration no: LEF-14-9216 model 2004 near Sargodha Road and asked the owner of the vehicle who were identified as Muhammad Shahbaz to produce legal documents regarding the possession of the car. The accused failed to provide any relevant documents. After his failure the team seized the Toyota Passo car and registered a case against its owner.
