Faisalabad I&I impounds non-duty paid Toyota Vitz car

FAISALABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation team impounded a used Toyota Vitz car during a special road checking on Tuesday.

Sources told Customs Today, that Deputy Director Rana Irfan Shouqat after receiving information regarding non-duty paid vehicles constituted a party comprising Superintendent, Muhammad Tahir Iqbal Intelligence Officer Mansoor Nasir, Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Sikander Haider Ali conducted operation.

The ASO team intercepted the car bearing registration no: UU-562 Islamabad model 2007 near Chenab Chowk Jhang Road and asked the owner of the vehicle who were identified as Muhammad Baksh Akbar to produce legal documents regarding the possession of the car. The accused failed to provide any relevant documents. After his failure the ASO team seized the Toyota Vitz car and registered a case against its owner.
