FAISALABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded a Mazda truck loaded with dental chair worth Rs 1 million during an action.
Official sources told Customs Today that the Customs I&I staff intercepted a Mazda truck bearing registration no: LEI-18-5719 on Jhang Road during surveillance.
During checking of vehicle the team recovered foreign origin dental chair 6 pieces and asked the owner Muhammad Aslam to show documents regarding the legal import of the items but he remained fail to do so. Therefore, the Customs Intelligence team seized the good with offender truck under the customs laws.
Initial investigation is under progress and seizure report will be submitted soon.
