Faisalabad I&I seizes prohibited medicines worth Rs 10 million

FAISALABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized the smuggled Rega Sildenate citrate worth Rs 10 million during an operation in Sahiwanwala Interchange.

Sources told Customs Today that that the confiscated sexual medicines are Indian made and being transported from Karachi to Faisalabad.

Following a tip-off, Director Syed Asad Raza Rizvi constituted a team to foil the smuggling attempt of illegal medicines. The superintendent was also informed that the medicines would be transferred from Karachi to Faisalabad via overhead bridge Sahiwanwala Interchange.

The team of I&I intercepted suspicious passenger vehicle and recovered Rega 100 Sildenafil citrate 20000 pills. The officials seized the items. Further investigations are underway to find the prime suspect in the case.
