FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) has collected its first three tax returns to the tune Rs 100,000 from non-filers after launching Voluntary Compliance Scheme in the region.
Sources told Customs Today that the RTO recovered Rs 50,000 from M/s Habib Traders; Rs 25,000 from Nadeem Ahmad Cotton West Dealer and Rs 25,000 from M/s Azkar Traders.
It is pertinent to mention here that these first three tax returns are collected under this scheme after the seminar held by Federal board of Revenue (FBR) at Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce (FCCI) for the promotion of this Scheme.
Commissioner Amjad Sajjad said that RTO Faisalabad is running massive campaigns for the success of this Scheme in the whole jurisdiction.
