Faisalabad RTO collects Rs 14360.465m revenue from July to November

FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax office (RTO) Faisalabad collected revenue of Rs 14360.465 millions during July to November 2016.

Sources told Customs Today that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) assigned the revenue collection target of Rs 13847.900 million for the above said months.

The newly posted Chief Commissioner Regional Tax office Faisalabad Shad Muhammad appreciated the performance of staff in collection of revenue. He said that Regional Tax office Faisalabad achieved 104 percent of revenue target in three months.

The revenue collection target for the months from July to November 2016 includes income tax, sales tax, and federal excise duty.

It is also pertinent to mention here, that Regional Tax office (RTO), Faisalabad collected Rs 7524.303 million under the head of income tax against the set target of Rs 9964.900 million.

Sources said that Rs 6801.124 million were collected as sales tax against the assigned target of Rs 3706.500 million. Whereas during the above mentioned period, RTO collected Rs 35.038 million under the head of federal excise duty (FED) against the target of Rs 176.500 million during the said period.
