Faisalabad RTO collects Rs 35.1b in financial year 2015-16

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected around Rs 35.115 billion in wake of duty/taxes against assigned target of Rs 34.668 billion during outgoing fiscal year 2015-16.

Sources told Customs Today that the RTO collected Rs 21.149 billion as income tax against the target of Rs 23.87 billion, while it generated Rs 13.76 billion against the target of Rs 10.32 billion as sales tax by surpassing target with 16 percent.
