Faisalabad RTO collects Rs 3,623m in March

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs 3,623 million during March against the set target of Rs 3,272 million.

Sources told Customs Today that the RTO collected Rs 2,069 million under the head of income tax against the set target of Rs 2255 million. Sources said that Rs 1,553 million were collected as sales tax against the assigned target of Rs 959 million. It is important to mention here that the RTO collected Rs 16 million under the head of federal excise duty against the target of Rs 58 million during the said period.
