Faisalabad RTO collects Rs5577.535m tax in June

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) has achieved to the assigned target of Rs 5577.535 million under the heads of different taxes, including sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty  (FED).

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has assigned the tax collection target  of Rs5687.0000 million to the Faisalabad RTO for the the last month of this year and it is learnt that the Regional Tax Office has already stimulated the field formation officers in this respect and they are trying in achieving the prescribed target of the FBR.

As per details, RTO Faisalabad will collect taxes of Rs5577.535 million during the month of June under different categories as per instructions of FBR, while the Regional Tax Office has started its work to get the assigned targets.

RTO has to collect sales tax Rs2646.165 million, income tax Rs 2893.362 million whereas for federal excise duty (FED) Rs38.008 million.

It is learnt that the Regional Tax Office has also issued orders to the field formation officers to ensure to get the targets which has been assigned by the FBR and they are working actively regarding to obtain the targets.
