FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has received 190 tax returns under the tax amnesty scheme amounting to Rs 15.353 million during February.
The government has launched the scheme in order to bring the non-taxpayers into tax net by giving them some exemption for a specific time period.
Faisalabad RTO Commissioner Aftab Alam said that RTO Faisalabad has decided to make a proper plan for the success of the tax amnesty scheme, which will raise revenue collection as well. He said that the FBR has directed the field formations to shape out a plan for the accomplishment of tax amnesty scheme.
