Faisalabad RTO Zone-I collects Rs 44.60m in three weeks of Sept

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Faisalabad City Zone-I collected Rs 44.60 million under the head of sales tax during first three weeks of September of the fiscal year 2016-17.

Commissioner RTO-I Muhammad Abid Ali told Customs Today that net collections stood at Rs 37 million, while it recovered Rs 7.6 million in wake of arrears during the said period.

He added that RTO unit-I collected Rs 10.79 million, unit-II Rs 12.24 million, while unit-III collected Rs 13.97 million.

He further said that Rs 7.6 million, which were recovered in shape of arrears has been collected by all units of the zone. He added that unit-I recovered Rs 0.58 million, unit-II Rs 2.65 million and the unit-III collected Rs 4.37 million during the said period. Responding to a question, Commissioner Muhammad Abid hoped that annual target will be achieved by the end of fiscal year.
