Faisalabad RTO Zone-II generates Rs 59.33m in first two weeks of April

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Zone-II has collected Rs 59.33 million in the wake of sales tax during the first two weeks of April 2016.

As per details, the net collection stood at Rs 54.84 million while the RTO recovered Rs 4.49 million as arrears under the head of sales tax.

RTO Zone-II Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Akram khan informed Customs Today that his department collected Rs 54.84 million under the head of sales tax. He explained that unit-I generated Rs 16.25 million, unit-II Rs 19.72 million, unit-III Rs 17.98 million and unit-IV collected Rs 900,000 as sales tax during the said period.

Akram khan further said that the department has recovered Rs 4.49 million in wake of arrears. The unit-I recovered Rs 1.68 millions, unit-II recovered Rs 800,000, unit-III Rs 1.98 million and unit-IV collected Rs 340,000, he said, adding that Faisalabad RTO was striving to achieve the set revenue target for the fiscal year.
