Faisalabad RTO’s Corporate Zone collects Rs 448.39m in 3 weeks

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Corporative Zone collected Rs 448.39 million under the head of sales tax during first three weeks of September of the fiscal year 2016-17.

As per details, the net collections stood at Rs 410.54 million, while it recovered Rs 37.85 million in wake of arrears during the said period, Corporate Zone Commissioner Muhammad Nasir Khan said.

He added that unit-I of the zone collected Rs 199.29 million, unit-II Rs 26.84 million, while unit-III collected Rs 184.41 million.

He further said that Rs 37.85 million, which were recovered in shape of arrears, has been collected by all units of the zone. He added that unit-I recovered Rs 14.14 million, unit-II Rs 9.28 million and the unit-III collected Rs 14.42 million during the said period.

Responding to a question, Commissioner Nasir Khan hoped that annual target will be achieved by the end of fiscal year.
