New Zealand based film studio Fence Post Productions released Half-Life Unannounced, a fan-made short movie. In the video, the hero of the franchise, Gordon Freeman is shown as going to seed while waiting for his next mission. He short portrays Freeman as gaining at least 20lbs and is staring at a TV set showing only static. Clearly bored out of his mind, the now rotund hero toys around with one of his guns from the video game series while chugging cans of what we suppose is beer and practically drooling in front of a non-working TV set.

It has been eight years since the latest game of the Half-Life series. 2007 saw the release of Half-Life 2: Episode Two. Since then, rumors have swirled about the release of the third game of the series, but so far, no concrete evidence of this have been unearthed.

Half-Life has such a pervasive effect among the gaming industry that fans that have been waiting for years for the third major installment in the series devour any news, rumor and tidbit that contains any hint of Half-Life 3 being developed or released.
