Farewell lunch arranged for outgoing Chief Collector Nazim Saleem

KARACHI: A farewell lunch was arranged in the honour of Enforcement-South Chief Collector Nazim Saleem, as he has been transferred and posted in the FBR on a new assignment.

After the orders of the Federal Board of Revenue to transfer Nazim Saleem, a graceful farewell lunch was arranged at Café Douane of the Customs House.

The lunch was arranged by the Customs Directorate General of Training and Research (DGTR) team. A number of customs officers participated in the programme, while Customs Member Nisar Muhammad Ali Khan was the chief guest on the occasion.

Customs Preventive Chief Collector Zahid Khokhar, Preventive Collector Tariq Huda, Preventive Additional Collector Khalid Jamali, Appraisement Director Javid Ovais Agha, Valuation Director Manzoor Memon, Appraisement-East Collector Majid Yousufani, Training Director General Ghulam Ahmad and others also attended the gathering.

Talking to Customs Today, Khalid Jamali said, “We will never forget the services of Nazim Saleem. We all learned from his kindness, experience and manners of teamwork.”
