MULTAN: The growers have been advised to start cultivation of canola during the ongoing moth of October.
The Punjab Agriculture Department asked the farmers to ensure canola cultivation during October for enhanced and quality production. Assistant Director Information Agriculture Naveed Asmat Kohloon in a statement urged farmers to sow recommended varieties including Punjab Canola and Faisalabad Canola for maximum production. The varieties have 80 percent growth rates and nearly 2 Kg seeds should be sown. In case of less moisture in the soil, the seeds quantity should be enhanced.
