DHAKA: Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) is likely to elect Matlub Ahmed, industrialist and chairman of Nitol-Niloy Group, as new president.
A meeting of the FBCCI was held at its office. The meeting discussed about the forthcoming election of FBCCI and it was decided that the election will be held within 90 days with the prior approval of the Ministry of Commerce.
In the meantime, names of eminent Matlub Ahmed, is being discussed as president candidate among the business community.
