FBR adopts new security measures at FBR House

ISLAMABAD: In view of current security situation in the country, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to adopt new security measures.

According to the details, Secretary Security and Management FBR has issued new directions to improve security, in which he has said that in view of the current wave of terrorism, the rear gate of the FBR House will remain closed until further orders.

Relaxation of entry of the FBR employees from 08:30 am to 09:30 am and o4:00 pm to 05:00 pm from rear gate also stand cancelled. He requested all officers and staff of the FBR to extend full cooperation with the security staff for strict implementation of aforesaid instructions.

He directed to all security staff concerned to ensure strict implementation of the instructions, in case of failing which disciplinary action would be initiated against them under rules. In case of any difficult, the matter may immediately be reported to secretary and second secretary security and management.
