A  member of Customs Nasir Masroor has planned large-scale re-shuffling of BS-16 officials through the Customs. First phase of this exercise is requirement of disposition lists.

Sources said authorities serving in one formation for a long period of time, would be moved to different formations. It might be said here that Chief Collectors have the power to rearrange BS-16 authorities inside their purview, however exchanges starting with one arrangement then onto the next rests with FBR.

It may be mentioned here that Principal Appraisers and Superintendent Preventive Service have been promoted in BS-17. However, these officers would also be re-shuffled and the disposition lists are required to contain the names of such officers.
