KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to block the passports and CNICs of the tax defaulters. The rule will be introduced in this regard in the coming fiscal year. The Directorate General Broadening of Tax Base has written a letter to FBR in this regard. It has been said that the justice system in Pakistan is very lengthy and complicated. Therefore, the necessity of a new rule was felt to be introduced to bring maximum people under tax net.
