KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has allowed zero-rating facility on supply of gas to an industrial unit through a Sales Tax General Order No 16 of 2007.
According to a notification issued by Second Secretary (IR-ST &FE) Qadeerullah, the FBR, exercising the powers conferred by clause (d) of section 4 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, made further amendments in its Sales Tax General Order No 16 of 2007 dated 13th September 2007.
Under the amendments, in the Table, after serial number 1054 in column (1) and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4) will be added. The concession of zero-rated sales tax has been granted to Rajwani Demin Mills (Pvt) Limited.
