ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has exempted customs duty on import of oxygen gas and oxygen cylinders.
The FBR issued SRO 488(I)/2022 dated April 05, 2022 to exempt the customs duty on import of oxygen gas and oxygen cylinders.
The revenue body said that exemption from customs duty has been granted for medical purpose for the period starting from November 09, 2021 and June 30, 2022.
The FBR allowed duty exemption on import of oxygen gas under PCT Code 2804.4000; Cylinders (for oxygen gas) 7311.0090 and cryogenic tanks (for oxygen gas) under PCT code 7311.0030.
