LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue has announced an operation against the tax defaulters who haven’t filed their income tax returns since year 2015.
According to sources of Customs Today, FBR authorities have issued notices to 5,730 tax defaulters to submit their records within seven days otherwise they’ll undergo severe assessment.
On the other hand, industry leaders and businessmen stand against the oppression perpetrated to them by the Federal Board of Revenue.
They have accused the FBR authorities of making several raids without issuing any notice. FBR authorities hit their offices at night and take over the laptops, computers and other office accessories.
