FBR approves Rs150m special allowances for 488 officials of Gujranwala

SIALKOT: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has approved Rs150 million special allowances for as many as 488 FBR officials and employees (from grade-1 to grade 21) in Gujranwala

Earlier, the FBR had suspended these allowances for three years (from 2005 to 2008). The said employees will also getting their doubled salaries for the said three years as well.

Meanwhile, central general secretary Federal Revenue Alliance Employees Union (CBA) Pakistan Ch. Rehmat Tarar, regional president Muhammad Saleem Butt , regional  general secretary Malik Tanveer Arshad Awan and regional chief organizer Rana Muhammad Azmat has highly hailed the FBR for approving the special grant of Rs430 million, in this regard.
