ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has asked the federal government to start investigation from a supplier who supplied the donkey-hides to a Lahore based exporter company, Irshad Tanneries.

Sources said that the Irshad Tanneries exported over 10,000 donkey-hides to Hong Kong, China during last two years. The FBR tried to know the supplier’s name from the exporter but it denied, the sources said, adding that due to not having authority, the FBR could not investigate the matter more.
