FBR asks officials to submit job description for performance evaluation

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has asked all chief commissioners/chief collectors and commissioner/collectors to submit their five most important jobs that must be accounted for in their final performance evaluation.

According to a letter to officials, the FBR Human Resource Management is undertaking a gigantic task of developing the job description and key performance indicators (KPIs) for every position in FBR headquarters and its field formations. In order to begin with a pilot project for further developing the detailed job descriptions and KPIs for all positions, the department has decided that all chief commissioners/commissioners/chief collectors/collectors shall prepare their own position specific brief job description by picking up only five most important jobs that they think are mostly consuming their time and which must be accounted for in their final performance evaluation.

It is, therefore, requested that all chief commissioners/chief collectors/commissioners/collectors may fill the enclosed Performa and send it by December 1, the letter added.
