FBR Board in Council meeting to be held on March 8

ISLAMABAD: Board in Council of Federal Board of Revenue meeting has been postponed and FBR has announced a new date for meeting of Board in Council. Earlier the meeting was scheduled for Wednesday (1-03-2017).

Sources told Customs Today that now the meeting will be held on 8th March 2017 in conference room at FBR House. Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Dr. Muhammad Irshad will preside over the meeting while Member Operations Inland Revenue Rehmat Ullah Khan Wazir, Member Customs Muhammad Zahid Khokhar, Member Human Resource Management Rozi Khan Burki, Member Administration Muhammad Majid Qureshi, Member Tax Payers Audit Raana Seerat, Member Inland Revenue Policy Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Member IT Nausheen Javed will attend the meeting.

According to sources Board in Council will review the progress of implementation on previous decisions. Board in Council will also scrutinize different projects including IT, functional and territorial jurisdiction related issues and measures to increase revenue collection.
