ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a temporary closure of its FBR Call Center for scheduled maintenance. The service will be unavailable to the public until Monday, August 4, 2025.
According to a notification prominently displayed on the official FBR website, the closure is necessary to perform routine maintenance. The announcement, visible on the main page, advises taxpayers that the call center will be closed for a brief period to ensure the system’s continued functionality and reliability.
During this period, taxpayers and the general public are advised to use other available communication channels for their queries, such as the FBR’s website and email services, which remain operational. The FBR has stated that the closure is a temporary measure and aims to improve the overall quality of its call center services once it reopens.
