ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar, while addressing the International Customs Day ceremony on the theme, “Coordinated Border Management”, organized by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), has said that Pakistan customs has made great efforts in achieving better visibility with its partners, including the international organizations, the business community, the development partners and other international trade stakeholders. Yet there is still a need, he said, for enhanced coordination between all stakeholders to facilitate trade, without compromising the security of supply chain.

He said that Pakistan is going through a critical phase. Effective management of our borders is of prime importance at this critical juncture of our history. It is the time that we take steps in the right direction to meet the challenges that we are facing today. He said that Pakistan customs can play a vital role in the economic growth of the country.
