FBR chairman exonerates Dy Collector Jehan Bahadar from allegations

ISLAMABAD: The minor penalty imposed on Jehan Bahadar, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-18, has been set aside.

On a departmental appeal filed by the officer, posted as Deputy Collector at Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication), Islamabad, against the minor penalty of “withholding of increment for a period of one year falling on December, 2016 without cumulative effect”, imposed vide Board’s Notification No. 0741-C-II2016 dated 17.03.2016, the Secretary Revenue Division/FBR chairman in his capacity as Appellate Authority has set aside the penalty and exonerate the officer from the charges levelled against him.
