FBR chairman Nisar distributes shields among officers of DoT

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan visited Lahore as he was invited as chief guest at the passing out parade of 65 officers of 45th common held at Directorate of Training.

Sources told Customs Today that the chairman was accompanied by Member Inland Revenue Operations Dr Muhammad Irshad Khan and other officers.

It was informed that the chairman distributed shields among the officers and encouraged them in the inception of their career at the Directorate of Training FBR Lahore.

On the occasion, the sources quoted as saying that the FBR chairman said the officers have chosen a very dynamic service which they will enjoy working with FBR.

The chairman was quoted as saying that the officers have to work hard for the department in order to make their and their department’s name.

The chairman FBR said that the officers were going to work with the central department of the all economic activities and the officers have to play their important part in making the economy strong and collect important revenue for the development and welfare projects in the country. He urged the officer to do their utmost from the development of the department and the public service.

He hoped that hard work, diligence, devotion and honesty of purpose of the officers will surely bring out good results
