FBR Chairman Nisar to meet traders associations soon

ISLAMABAD: A meeting will be held between FBR high-ups and traders associations during current week. The meeting will take place in conference room of FBR headquarters.

Sources informed Customs Today that representatives of KPK chambers of commerce, Lahore, and Karachi will participate in the meeting, while advisor to prime minister on revenue Haroon Akhtar, chairman FBR Nisar Mohammad Khan, Member Inland Policy Rehmatullah Khan Wazir, Member Inland Revenue Operations Mohammad Irshad, Member Strategic Planning and Reforms and IT Dr. Mohammad Iqbal and Member Customs Nasir Masoor will also attend the meeting.

Sources said that during the meeting participants will consider various proposals submitted by businessmen and the suitable proposals will be finalized. The final recommendations will be sent to federal ministry of finance. Sources said there are chances that federal minister for finance Ishaq Dar may attend the meeting.
