ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman has given directions to all the collectorates and RTO’s to achieve the target. The board needs Rs 1165 billion to complete reviewed target of Rs 2691 in the last quarter of the year. Member Inland Revenue Operation Muhammad Ashraf Khan has started visits of RTO’s. He spent a busy day at Lahore and attended meetings. He will visit Karachi on March 4 to check progress on the given tasks. It is expected that officers will be transferred who did not perform well despite repeated warnings. Their names will be sent to the Member Administration after consultation with Chairman FBR Tariq Bajwa. The decision is expected in next month.
