The chairman has fixed the hearing on Wednesday September 27, 2017. These inspectors were suspended on the charges of corruption, misconduct and misuse of powers and government authority.

Chairman Federal Board of Revenue has directed them that bring all the relevant documents on the hearing day, which could prove their innocence. Chairman FBR will give personal hearing to all inspectors on same day.

According to sources all four inspectors were suspended by the relevant authority after the report of concerned inquiry committees. The report was against them and it had been proved that all inspectors were involved in corruption and misuse of powers. Inquiry officers were recommended to member administration Federal Board of Revenue for major penalty.  They were also appealed before the member administration FBR and Member was given them to opportunity but they have failed to prove their innocence. Now they have appealed before the chairman which has been accepted.

According to law this is the last forum and if they have failed to satisfy the chairman FBR than they could should have to face punishment of major penalty, which may result in removal of service.
