FBR Chairman Tariq Pasha to hear case of suspended Inspector Abdul Razzaq on September 14

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Tariq Mehmood Pasha will give personal hearing to customs inspector of Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad Abdul Razzaq and others on 14th September 2017 at FBR House.

According to the details, Inspector Abdul Razzaq is facing the charges of corruption and misusing the power and the government authority and after thorough investigations and inquiry report he found guilty and imposed major penalty of removal from the service.

He appealed to FBR Chairman Tariq Mehmood Pasha against the decision and requested him that he may be allowed last opportunity to prove his innocence.

The FBR chairman has decided to give him personal hearing as the last chance. Abdul Razzaq was also appealed to Member Administration Tasneem Rehman but he had failed to prove his innocence and member administration were held the decision of inquiry committee.

Chairman FBR is the final authority and if it is proved that he was not involved in corruption then it is chairman can change major penalty into minor or even restored him without any penalty.
