FBR chairman visits RTO Lahore

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Tariq Bajwa Monday visited Regional Tax office Lahore.

The RTO sources said that the chairman visited the RTO and had a view of the vacant place around the RTO where a garden has been set up. The chairman took a round of the building especially the newly made garden by the administration of the RTO.

Sources said that the chairman also discussed issues regarding RTO’s building and position of the revenue collection. He is quoted to have urged the Large Tax Payer chief commissioner Ch Safdar Unit RTO-I chief commissioners’ Waqar Ahmad and RTO II chief commissioner Rukhsan Yasmin to expedite revenue collection to hit the targets.

The chairman left the Tax House Building before the lunch timings while Large Tax Payer Chief Commissioner Ch Safdar Unit RTO-I chief commissioners’ Waqar Ahmad were with him. Meanwhile, ex LTU chief commissioner Mustafa Ashraf also visited the Tax House and called on the FBR chairman.
