FBR changes nomenclature of small cadre

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has changed the nomenclature of its officials of small cadre with immediate effect.

According to notification No 2467-IR-I/2015, in partial modification of SRO 1126(1)/2010, dated 27.11.2010, it has been decided by the FBR’s Board-in-Council in its meeting held on 11.09.2015 to change the nomenclature of the posts defined under the said SRO.

After the change of nomenclature, the post of Manager Audit BPS-20 has been changed to Director Audit, Additional Manager Audit BPS-19 as Additional Director Audit, Deputy Manager Audit BPS-18 as Deputy Director Audit and Assistant Manager Audit BPS-17 as Assistant Director Audit.

“It has further been clarified that the officer of this cadre shall not be posted as Unit In charge in the field formations i.e. they shall not be assigned assessment related duties and functions”, according to notification issued by Secretary Mgt-IR-I Uzma Munir.
