FBR collects Rs 290 billion through Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revnue (FBR) has collected Rs 290 billion from new taxpayers until the last date of filing of tax returns through Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS).

Source told Customs Today that 2,900 non-filers submitted their tax returns in Regional Tax Offices of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Bahawalpur and Lahore.
