FBR collects Rs 77.94 billion taxes in 15 days of October

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has collected Rs 77.94 billion taxes in the first 15 days of October.

Around Rs 5 billion rebates and refunds are also included. The FBR has collected Rs 649.74 billion from July to October 15. This amount included Rs 36.78 billion rebates and refunds. Net taxes collected are Rs 609.96 billion. Around 19.3 percent increase in collective tax rate and 18.5 in net taxes has been witnessed. If compared with taxes collected in the same period of fiscal year 2013, the tax rate has increased 93.2 percent and net taxes have increased 83.3 percent. Last year, in the first 15 days of October, Rs 40.3 billion were collected.
