FBR collects Rs14.7m taxes from 59 people under Asset Declaration Scheme

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) collected Rs14.7 million taxes from 59 people under Asset Declaration Scheme here on Wednesday.

The Federal Board of Revenue managed to collect almost Rs14.7 million taxes under the Asset Declaration Scheme from the Regional Tax Office Multan.

The Federal Board of Revenue has displayed banners in the main markets to inform business community and others to bring them in the tax net. The Regional Tax Office also organized seminars for the public awareness about tax amnesty scheme.

The Regional Tax Office has also established facilitation cell for Asset Declaration for the general public and business community to facilitate maximum people through this scheme.

Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Multan Abid Raza Bodla informed Customs Today that 59 individuals took advantage of Asset Declaration Scheme in the jurisdiction so far. Tax authorities are still expecting that large number of people will avail facility of Asset Declaration Scheme by declaring undeclared assets.
