KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to bring 10,000 new taxpayers into the tax net and notices will be issued from next month in this regard.
Additional Director Regional Tax Office (RTO) Shabnam Quraishi said FBR is taking measures to bring individuals into the tax net. The FBR has also decided to take stern action against non-filers to increase GDP.
Last year some persons didn’t pay their taxes even they had national tax number. FBR issued notices to tax defaulters to pay their remaining dues within ten days.
