KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to start a crackdown on fake companies which receive tax refunds after submission of fake documents.
Talking to Customs Today, Additional Commissioner RTO-III Malik Mumtaz has said that the FBR detected 12 forged companies which received sales tax refunds. He said that among those companies which received tax refunds includes Al-Farooq Knitwear, Sadiq and Sons, Tabish Computers and Accessories, Black Hawk International, and Salma Garments.
According the official data, these companies received an amount of Rs 15 million each. Sources further revealed that the FBR will take strict action against these companies.
